Visiting Southan Antiques

1940s Venue

Step Back in Time at Southan Antiques – Just Minutes from Junction 13 of the M6.

Situated just off Junction 13 of the M6, a few miles from Stafford, Southan Antiques offers a charming 1940s-themed experience in historic 260-year-old farm buildings, making it the perfect day out for the whole family. We’re also dog-friendly, so feel free to bring your furry friends along!

Explore seven barns filled with a captivating collection of antiques, vintage treasures, retro items, and collectibles, along with a stylish selection of new and vintage designer clothing.

Immerse yourself in the 1940s atmosphere with music playing throughout the venue, including our huge collection of vinyl records that captures the spirit of the era. There’s something for everyone – from browsing thousands of unique finds to enjoying stone ornament painting activities or hosting fun-filled parties.

For a truly nostalgic experience, treat yourself and your loved ones to one of our special 1940s afternoon teas.

Our on-site tea room and bistro offer a delightful variety of refreshments. Enjoy hearty breakfasts, and why not try our Lancaster 4 of Everything breakfast? If you can conquer this hearty challenge, you’ll earn a winner’s certificate! But don’t worry, even if you don’t succeed, you’ll still get a wimp’s certificate!

The bistro menu features options like scampi and chips, gammon and chips, lasagne, and three-course meals. We cater to vegan and gluten-free diets as well. We’re fully licensed, so you can relax with a drink, and our lovely outdoor seating area is perfect for sunny days.

Indulge in a wide selection of homemade cakes, including decadent chocolate, fruity sponge cakes, and traditional favourites like Victoria sponge and lemon drizzle, as well as old-fashioned spotted dick pudding served with custard. Whether you’re after a light snack or a sweet treat, our tea room has something for everyone.

We offer FREE parking and wheelchair access to the ground floors of all our buildings, including the tea room.

Opening Hours: We are open Wednesday to Sunday, from 10am to 5pm.
